Alakh pandey is the founder and CEO of Physics Wallah / Pw, India's affordable leading Ed-tech company.

Alakh Pandey starts his classes by singing "Hum honge kamyab" to motivate his students. He dropped out of an engineering college in Kanpur and returned to his native town Allahabad and decided to teach students.

Pandey COTINUED for 4 years in a coaching center. The coaching owner congratulated him for his fast growth and SAYING he can teach 6k students IN 10 years down the line.

In 2018, He monetized his YouTube account and decided to leave the brick and mortar coaching to focus on Youtube in an attempt to reach more students

When the question arrived at his plans after dropping out of college, he confidently replied, “ I will start PhysicsWallah”.

Alakh Pandey was the only teacher who taught the complete JEE syllabus on Youtube at that time. He was getting 100k sub per month and PW became the largest JEE channel in the world.

During the Corona pandemic, alakh pandey met his co-founder Prateek Maheshwari who was building SaaS Products for Ed-tech. With the help of Prateek, Physics Wallah launched PW app on 26th May 2022.

RECENTLY they also launched 1st offline center PW Vidyapeeth in Kota, Rajasthan. Their goal is to enroll 250M+ students by 2025 on the platform.
